Sitia is a picturesque seaside town, situated on the northeastern side of Crete, a region still unspoiled by mass tourism. A long sandy beach offers the pleasures of sand, sea, swimming, windsurfing and other water sports.The beaches of Sitia have been awarded with the EEC Blue Flag. A visitor can also enjoy some traditional dishes from the popular healthy Cretan diet at one of the local seaside taverns and restaurants. It is worth mentioning that our complex is very close to various points of interest, like:

ACCESS TO

SITIA

Blue Horizon is located on the main road to Palaikastro/Vai , 300m from the town. You can visit Sitia using one of the following ways:

  • Direct scheduled and charter flights to Heraklion and Chania:
    Several airlines operate services from all main European cities directly to Heraklion and Chania. Sitia is a two-hour drive from Heraklion and four hours from Chania.
  • Directly fly to Sitia International Airport, with daily flights from Athens (Aegean Airlines / Olympic Air), Rhodes, Kasos, Karpathos Alexandroupoli, Preveza, Corfu. Also there are direct flights from many European cities.
  • Ferries from Piraeus to Heraklion and Sitia: Express nonstop ships operate the route from Piraeus to Heraklion on a daily basis. There is also the slower option from Piraeus with intermediate stops before arrival at the port of Sitia.
  • Sea jets from Sitia to the islands of Kasos, Karpathos , Chalki, Rhodes
